Brazil's Silva says he'll try to be more healthy

Brazil's president says he'll be more careful about his health but will maintain the busy work schedule blamed for an attack of high blood pressure last week.

President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva was forced to cancel a trip to Switzerland for the World Economic Forum last Wednesday.

The 63-year-old Silva said Monday on his weekly radio program that he realizes he must take better care of himself. But he also says his job as president is demanding, and he will continue to travel extensively in Brazil and abroad.

Silva is a smoker, and Brazilian newspapers pointed that out over the weekend as a health risk. He didn't mention his smoking on the radio program.
