Singer Amy Winehouse was to appear in court on Wednesday over an alleged assault on a theatre manager at a Christmas pantomime.
The troubled north London singer was to appear before Milton Keynes magistrates court charged with common assault and a public order offence after disrupting a performance of "Cinderella" on December 19.
Winehouse is alleged to have attacked the theatre manager after he asked her to move seats during the performance, which stars US actor Mickey Rooney.
Media reports said she was asked to move after shouting obscenities at the Ugly Sisters in the middle of an audience packed with children.
She was arrested after voluntarily attending the police station.
Winehouse rocketed to fame after winning five Grammy awards for her second album "Back to Black" (2006) and the hit single "Rehab", but has since been engaged in a well-documented struggle with drugs.
